Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most from Florida and Georgia landowners.
How much does a pole barn cost?
Cost depends on size, finish level, site prep, and location. Basic agricultural pole barns typically start around $25--$45 per sq ft, while finished workshops, equestrian barns, and barndominiums can run $60--$150+ per sq ft. We provide detailed written quotes after a site visit -- no surprise line items.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. We handle permitting, engineering stamps, and inspection coordination throughout every Florida county and our Georgia service area. You don't need to chase down the county building department -- that's our job.
How long does construction take?
Most standard pole barns are raised in 2--4 weeks once site prep is complete and permits are in hand. Larger commercial builds and barndominiums typically run 6--12 weeks. Permit timelines vary by county -- we'll give you a realistic window during the quote.
Are your barns hurricane-rated?
Absolutely. Every barn we build in Florida is engineered to meet or exceed local wind-load requirements (including HVHZ zones when applicable). Upgraded bracing, hurricane ties, and rated metal roofing are standard -- not upsells.
What materials do you use?
Pressure-treated posts rated for ground contact, full-length dimensional lumber, 29-gauge (or heavier) painted steel roofing and siding, and galvanized hardware engineered for coastal humidity. We don't cut material corners.
Do you handle site prep, concrete, and electrical?
We can coordinate site prep (pad grading, gravel, concrete) and rough-in electrical and plumbing through trusted partners. Alternatively, if you have your own preferred subs, we're happy to work alongside them.
Do you offer financing?
We work with a handful of lending partners who specialize in pole barn, agricultural, and barndominium financing. Ask during your quote call and we'll point you in the right direction.
What warranty do you offer?
Our builds carry a written workmanship warranty plus manufacturer warranties on roofing and structural components. You'll get the full warranty details with your quote.
How far will you travel?
All of Florida -- panhandle to the Keys -- and into South Georgia. For projects outside our standard coverage area, give us a call and we'll see if we can make it work.
Can I modify a quote after it's issued?
Of course. Quotes are a starting point. Upgrade doors, add a lean-to, bump up roof gauge, change the color -- we'll re-quote at no charge until you're happy with the plan.
